I have published in literary reviews and given papers on authors such as Jules Barbey d’Aurevilly and Guy de Maupassant in conferences in Canada, the United States and Europe. Although most of my non-fictional work has been written in French, I have had short fictional stories published in English in some newspapers and reviews.

I have a Master’s degree on French realism and the novels of Honoré de Balzac from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, as well as Bachelor’s degrees in French, Politics, and Life Sciences. My Master's thesis was entitled La Femme exposée : Les Conflits entre les stéréotypes féminins dans La Cousine Bette d’Honoré de Balzac. Although I am extremely familiar with academic papers in both French and politics, I am new to freelance writing.
